With an average of 18 million passengers annually, it is the second busiest single-runway airport in the United States. The airport features two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, with a range of dining, shopping, and other amenities for passengers. Additionally, the airport has undergone numerous renovations and expansions in recent years to modernize and improve the passenger experience. It is a hub for Southwest Airlines and serves as a focus city for Alaska Airlines. With its central location and modern facilities, San Diego International Airport provides a convenient and efficient gateway to the city of San Diego and beyond.
